The Chamber of Minerals and Energy offers an Indigenous Cadetship and placement under the National Indigenous Cadetship Program.

In 2007 the Chamber of Minerals and Energy commissioned a survey of its membership to profile resources sector initiatives and partnerships with indigenous Communities, and their results.
